- 10 cups popcorn
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar orMexican blend)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine popcorn, shredded cheese, hot sauce, paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Pour melted butter over the mixture and toss to evenly coat.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 10-12 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crispy.
- Remove from oven, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve hot.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels with more or less cayenne and hot sauce.
- For extra crunch, sprinkle with crushed chips or bacon bits before serving.
