Instructions
- In a large pot, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until browned.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes, broth, and seasonings; bring to a boil.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and simmer until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in ricotta cheese and mozzarella, cook until cheese melts and soup is creamy.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and extra cheese if desired.
