- 1 pound (450g) pasta shells
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef
- 2 cups (480ml) heavy cream
- 1 cup (100g) shredded cheese (cheddar or Italian blend)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta shells in boiling salted water until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then stir in shredded cheese until melted and sauce is smooth.
- Add cooked pasta shells to the sauce, toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving hot.
Notes
- Feel free to add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for extra flavor and nutrition.
- Use any shredded cheese you prefer for a different cheesy taste.
