Classic creamy deviled eggs are a crowd-pleasing appetizer made with boiled eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, and seasonings, topped with paprika and herbs.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Fresh chives, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let sit for 12 minutes. Cool in ice water and peel.
  2. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove yolks into a bowl.
  3. Mash yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  5. Garnish with paprika and chopped chives. Chill before serving for best flavor.
