- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 1/2 cups crispy fried onion rings
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, and soy sauce.
- Mix the green beans into the sauce until well coated.
- Transfer to a baking dish and top with 1 cup of crispy fried onions and cheese if using.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbling and golden on top.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a dash of garlic powder or fresh herbs.
- You can substitute fresh green beans with frozen, thawed beans.
