  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add sausage slices and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add the orzo and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook until orzo is tender, about 10 minutes.
  5. Return sausage to the pot, stir to combine, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
