- 4 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil sweet potatoes until tender, then mash until smooth.
- Mix mashed sweet potatoes with melted butter, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine pecans, flour, brown sugar, and cold butter to make streusel.
- Sprinkle streusel evenly over sweet potatoes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until topping is golden brown and casserole is heated through.
Notes
- Can substitute maple syrup for brown sugar for a healthier option.
- Use coconut milk for a dairy-free version.
