- For homemade tonkatsu sauce:
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry pork until golden and cooked through, about 4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
- Mix ketchup, Worcestershire, soy sauce, honey, and mustard to make the tonkatsu sauce.
- Slice the fried pork into strips. Serve over rice, topped with shredded cabbage, green onions, and a generous drizzle of homemade sauce.
