Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract and molasses; beat until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in oats, chocolate chips, and nuts.
  7. Drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets and flatten slightly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Cool on wire racks before serving.
