- 1 cup chocolate chips

- 1 tablespoon molasses
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract and molasses; beat until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Stir in oats, chocolate chips, and nuts.
- Drop spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, slightly underbake and let sit on the baking sheet for a few minutes.
- Can substitute dark chocolate chips for variety.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
