- 8 slices prosciutto
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced into 8 pieces
- Fresh basil leaves (optional)
- Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lay out prosciutto slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place a mozzarella slice and basil leaf (if using) on each prosciutto slice.
- Wrap the prosciutto around the mozzarella securely.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until prosciutto is crispy and cheese is slightly melted.
- Remove from oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
- Check for cheese melting but avoid overbaking to prevent cheese from spilling out.
- Serve warm for optimal gooeyness and flavor.
