- 2 chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 8 oz (225 g) chow mein or egg noodles
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Pour over cooked chicken and garlic in the skillet, stir to coat and cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- Add cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to combine and heat through.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

- Feel free to add steamed vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
- Adjust the sweetness or saltiness by modifying honey or soy sauce amounts.
