Ingredients

- 1 lb (450g) carrots, sliced into rounds or sticks
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook carrots until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add honey, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine.
- Add cooked carrots to the skillet, tossing to coat in the glaze. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until glossy and slightly caramelized.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust sweetness to taste, add a splash of orange juice for extra flavor, or sprinkle with toasted nuts for crunch.
