Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread cooked ground beef evenly over half of the pastry sheet.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef.
- Fold the pastry to cover the filling and press edges to seal.
- Cut into individual croissant shapes or leave as a whole sheet for easier slicing later.
- Brush the surface with beaten egg for a shiny finish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from oven, garnish with herbs if desired, and serve warm.
