- 4 slices deli turkey or ham
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced cucumbers
- 2 slices provolone or Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Slice the hoagie roll lengthwise and toast lightly if desired.
- Spread mayonnaise and Dijon mustard evenly on the bread.
- Layer deli meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers inside the bread.
- Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper.
- Close the sandwich, cut into halves or portions, and serve immediately.
