Ingredients

- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté sliced kielbasa until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, add diced onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and diced tomatoes. Add thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Return kielbasa to the pot and heat through. Serve hot.

- You can add potatoes or greens for variation.
- Use spicy kielbasa for more flavor.
