- 12 Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced ham or turkey (optional)
- Butter for spreading
- Fresh herbs (parsley or basil, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Spread butter on each cut side of the rolls.
- Place bottom halves onto the skillet, add shredded cheese and optional ham or turkey.
- Top with remaining rolls and cook until golden brown, pressing lightly, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove from skillet, garnish with herbs, and serve warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a slice of tomato or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes before cooking.
