  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, Italian breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Divide the meat mixture in half. On a baking sheet or in a loaf pan, shape the first half into a rectangular layer.
  4. Spread marinara sauce over the meat layer and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese. Add extra stuffing ingredients if desired.
  5. Top with the second half of the meat mixture, sealing edges around the stuffing.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). During the last 10 minutes, add extra marinara and cheese for a gooey top.
